Born and raised on Amami Island, I moved to Tokyo for university, where I participated in the TOMODACHI MetLife Women’s Leadership Program. This experience inspired me to found and lead a student organization that supported nonprofit initiatives.

I actively pursued various challenges—winning first prize in a national English speech competition and interning at a startup that aimed to launch and operate a satellite office on the island.

Moving from a small island community to Tokyo exposed me to peers who embodied the “derukui” spirit—those who dare to stand out and take bold steps. Their influence encouraged me to embrace challenges and follow my own path.

After graduating in 2022, I joined Recruit Co., Ltd. to strengthen my business development skills and work toward becoming a globally impactful professional. I was later seconded to Indeed Japan and now work at the newly established Indeed Recruit Partners Co., Ltd., where I focus on co-creating organizational value between Recruit and Indeed.
