TORGOVITSKY Bryson

Bryson Y. Torgovitsky is a PhD student at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. He first studied in Japan in 2017 through the TOMODACHI US-Japan Youth Exchange Program, and was later a participant in the 2018 KAKEHASHI Project, where he travelled to Japan again. As a PhD student, Bryson has been involved with internationalization initiatives at Tohoku University in addition to his PhD research on Japanese fisheries in the contexts of climate change and the aftermath of the 2011 Great Kanto Earthquake and Tsunami. Bryson is an alumnus of the University of New Hampshire, United States where he studied marine biology and aquaculture.
