MATSUKI Koh

Koh Matsuki became a member of the TOMODACHI generation through his internship with the TOMODACHI Initiative and served as the regional leader of the TOMODACHI Alumni and Kansai region in 2017. He is currently the CEO of Proxy Watcher, Inc. where he helps activate dialogue between Japanese companies and their shareholders who value ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investment. While a student at Kwansei Gakuin University, he studied abroad in Washington, D.C., U.S. and Berlin, Germany, covering international affairs and the European refugee crisis as a student journalist. From 2018 to 2020, he worked as a reporter at Nikkei Inc. covering financial announcements, M&A, etc. of listed companies. Koh also edited internet media and print editions of international/financial news.Because a lot of foreign employees helped him grow his business, he is currently developing a service called “SettleSmoothJapan” to help foreigners immigrating to Japan since 2024. TOMODACHIイニシアチブでのインターンシップを通してTOMODACHI世代の一員となり、2017年にTOMODACHIアラムナイ・関西地域の地域リーダーを務めました。現在は株式会社 Proxy Watcher 代表取締役。ESG(環境・社会・ガバナンス)投資を重視する株主と日本企業の対話活性化をサポートしています。関西学院大学在学中に米・ワシントンDCや独・ベルリンに留学し、国際情勢や欧州難民危機を取材。2018年~20年には日本経済新聞社で記者として上場企業の決算発表、M&Aなどを取材。国際/金融ニュースのインターネット媒体や紙面の編集も担当しました。2024年から、外国人の従業員に事業成長を助けられたことをきっかけに外国人の日本移住手続きを簡潔化するサービス"SettleSmoothJapan"の開発に着手しています。
